At Madison Family Dental, we take a lot of pride and care in making sure people have a healthy mouth. In addition to that, we also focus on having people love their teeth.

Cosmetic dentistry is a big part of my practice, and I love doing it! It can be as simple as having a patient whiten their teeth or changing the contours of their teeth. You also can change much more than that if that’s what the patient is looking for.

We also do crowns — it can be as simple as doing one crown, or you could do multiple crowns. You can do it in addition with ortho, meaning you can have braces that help get the teeth in alignment and then you can do some type of either resin filling or even the crown work to help kind of finish the final product.

The best way to start the process if you’re unhappy with your smile is just to make an appointment and come on in to see us. I think there’s many options we can give patients, but like I said you can start with teeth whitening and that’s a simple process that you just do at your house — and a lot of times that’s all you need to make you make you feel better about your teeth.

If there’s more treatment that needs to be done, we can go over the options that we have. If it is something as simple as a filling, that just takes one appointment, and that’s over and done with very quickly.

Crown work, we do a little bit more work to get that started, but again it’s only a two appointment procedure. The first appointment you come in and we get the teeth ready for the final crown. You would leave that day with temporary crowns on which look very natural and nice — a lot of times people like their temporary crowns just as much as their final crowns. Within two weeks the lab will have the final crowns made, then you come back and we put them on, and it’s a very quick, simple process — really no downtime for the patient.

It’s quite amazing to see how happy people are. Usually the only comment I get is that people say, “I wish I would have done that sooner!”
