Posted on 8/9/2021 by Evan
The Importance of a Regular Oral Hygiene RoutineYour oral health affects your entire body. It is imperative that you take care of your teeth and gums. By developing a regular oral hygiene routine, you can be proactive toward good oral health.

It is important to prioritize your oral health. Brushing your teeth twice a day is the most important thing you can do. Make sure you use a soft bristled toothbrush, for at least two minutes per brushing session, and replace your toothbrush three or four times a year. Do not forget to brush your tongue as well. Flossing is important too. Make sure you do that once a day for optimal oral health. Having a routine is important. Brush and floss your teeth every day. In addition, rinse your mouth with mouthwash after you brush and floss your teeth.

How Can I Tell if I Have a Good Oral Hygiene Routine?

If you are doing your oral hygiene routine successfully, you will be able to see the difference when you look in the mirror. Your gums will be pink Anne will not bleed or get sore when you gently brush or floss your teeth. In addition, your teeth will feel clean and void of any fuzzy feeling plaque. Lastly, you will know if you are doing a good job if you consistently have fresh breath.
