Meet Dr. Dylan DonnellyDr. Dylan Donnelly is one of three partners and seven general dentists at Madison Family Dental Associates, working out of our Madison office. Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Donnelly knew from a young age he wanted to be a dentist. Ironically, he didn’t even know exactly what the job entailed until he went to dental school! Dr. Donnelly is a graduate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry after which, he found Madison Family Dental Associates and never plans to leave. Dr. Donnelly enjoys dentistry because of the variety that it offers day-to-day. His favorite days include a good mix of procedures to change things up, showcasing his versatility as a practitioner. He specifically enjoys the challenge of root canals, as each one presents differently. Whether he is fixing an issue that was causing pain or repairing a broken tooth to restore a beautiful smile, Dr. Donnelly has grown to love dentistry because he is always helping patients. When he’s not practicing at MFDA, Dr. Donnelly serves as one of the team dentists for several University of Wisconsin sports teams including both the men and women’s basketball and hockey teams, along with the men’s wrestling team! Additionally, Dr. Donnelly is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UW-Madison hospitals and clinics. Outside of work, Dr. Donnelly stays busy with his three kids, Reese, Ellie and Deacon. He is an avid supporter of the sports team of his alma mater (Iowa Hawkeyes), where he also met his wife, Krista. In his free time, Dr. Donnelly enjoys competing in races and has even competed in several Iron Man races! Associations:
