Meet Dr. Jeri McCombs Dr. McCombs is one of seven general dentists at Madison Family Dental Associates, working out of both the DeForest and Madison locations.After growing up in the Chicago area, going to dental school at the University of Illinois was an easy choice for Dr. McCombs to begin her career in helping people achieve their ideal, healthy smile. In 2016, she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, but not before meeting her husband who is also a dentist! Following dental school, Dr. McCombs completed a hospital-based residency program in Chicago to gain more experience with complicated procedures such as root canals, extractions, and implants. Dr. McCombs joined Madison Family Dental Associates in 2019 after realizing that the core practice values really aligned with her own. She enjoys having multiple dentists to bounce ideas off of and believes MFDA’s teamwork approach makes for better practitioners. Dr. McCombs always knew she wanted to help people in her career and through the mentorship of her childhood dentist, she found that dentistry was a great way to fuel her passions. She also loves the way in which dentistry combines art and science. Dr. McCombs’ favorite procedure is prepping a tooth for a crown because of precision and attention to detail it requires. Additionally, Dr. McCombs enjoys extracting teeth; even though she would prefer to save them all! When they are not performing dental procedures, Dr. McCombs and her husband enjoy spending time with their dog, Cooper, at their home in Waunakee. Dr. McCombs also loves skiing in the winter, fishing in the summer, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with family. She is also proud to be Packer fan, despite growing up in Bear’s country! Associations:
