Meet Dr. Martin ChallengerDr. Martin Challenger is one of seven general dentists at Madison Family Dental Associates, working exclusively out of our Madison office. Dr. Challenger graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996 and joined Madison Family Dental Associates in February 2001. Given his love of working with his hands, helping people, and his admiration for his father who was a dentist, Dr. Challenger was drawn to the dental field as a career. Dr. Challenger provides a variety of dental procedures to his patients such as crowns, fillings, and mouthguards, but his favorite procedure is restoring dental implants. Dental implant restorations involve many different steps that require perfect cohesion in order to obtain a great final result. Seeing the final product come together is both satisfying and rewarding, knowing you are helping someone smile or chew better. Outside of work, Dr. Challenger and his wife are constantly kept on their toes with their Australian Shepard rescue dog. Dr. Challenger also enjoys playing the guitar and tinkering with electronics associated with his electric guitar. On his spare time, he also enjoys going on nature hikes with his wife and dog, and has recently taken up playing pickle ball. Associations:
