We actively participate with the Touched Twice United organization on an annual basis. This is a faith-based organization that provides dental care and other health-related services once a year to people in need in the community. We open our doors for a Saturday and have generally 25-35 staff members providing dental care to these individuals. We treat between 40-60 people and provide a full range of dental service at this event.
Madison Family Dental hosted a spring 2016 Touched Twice Dental Clinic with a small army of volunteers and nearly $17,000 provided in dental care.

Madison Family Dental hosted a spring 2015 Touched Twice Dental Clinic with a small army of volunteers and over $13,000 provided in dental care.
On October 8, 2011, we opened our doors on a Saturday to serve those in need of dental care. 25 MFDA team members volunteered their time and talents to improve the smiles of 56 individuals. In 2013 and 2014 members of our hygiene team and Dr’s Lori Veerman and Lindsey Heim participated by volunteering in other dental practices around Madison to provide care for the annual Touched Twice event.
After serving on a Saturday to help my fellow Madisonians, I have a new appreciation for how simply my skills can help another human being. Thanks to Touched Twice United for leading the charge. ~Dr. Lindsey Heim
